A late 19th century brick building with cast iron façade in Port Townsend, WA with approx. 13,000sf on four levels, including the basement. The project involved the architectural renovation and seismic retrofit of the building, elevator & egress system installations and the overall design & updating of public spaces to current 'times' and codes. Also included was the design of three tenant spaces: The Silverwater Café at street level, a weaver's studio on the second floor and a photographer's studio on the third. The basement was planned & designed as future tenant lease space.
