This new residence is located just south of the Fauntleroy ferry dock in West Seattle. It sits on a steep slope, one lot in from the beach, with beautiful views of Puget Sound, the ferries coming and going in the foreground and Vashon Island and the Olympic Mountains beyond. An existing structure was demolished to make room for the new, but an existing three bay concrete garage was retained, the roof of which became a terrace for the new house.
